Dear Readers,
In our continuous search for new and exciting topics for you it is very important for us to receive feedback on how you like our books. We are extremely thankful for all the responses and reactions we have received from all over the world. Please continue to let us know your thoughts. We want our art book programme to become better and better!
Another important yardstick of our work can be found in the reviews of the national and international press. Below we would like to publish a few quotations from these reviews and thank the journalists for their excellent work. The positive resonance – with both our readers and the press – encourages us to continue on the path we have chosen.
We hope that our new art books will again inspire you: for our porcelain enthusiasts we offer a wonderful, previously unknown private collection of Meissen porcelain from the US, a superb conclusion to the 300th anniversary of the Meissen porcelain manufactory. For all art nouveau fans there is a survey of the splendid collection of the Bayerisches Nationalmuseum in Munich with illustrations of numerous art nouveau objects of the highest quality that have never been published. For jewellery devotees there is a large selection of publications this autumn on studio jewellery as well as a monograph on Henkel & Grosse. The long-established German firm, located in Pforzheim, produced jewellery collections for, among others, the fashion Mogul Christian Dior in Paris. Finally our new programme is rounded off with new publications on contemporary design and photography.
We wish you pleasurable reading. May it be a feast for the eyes.
With best wishes from Stuttgart,
Dieter Zühlsdorff Dirk Allgaier
